Compendia

The compendia are a listing of readily available drug information resources that provide comprehensive, organized data concerning FDA-approved medications and biologicals, including pharmacology, dosages, recommended use in specific disease states, adverse reactions, and drug interactions.

Criteria

The criteria are used in the retrospective and prospective programs and based on the compendia and peer reviewed medical literature.  Criteria and standards are periodically revised to ensure that they reflect prescribing recommendations of the current compendia and literature.
