Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday to Delay Pharmacy Payments   

There will be a one-day delay in Vendor Drug Program payments to pharmacy providers because of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday on Monday, January 20. The delay affects claims for traditional Medicaid, the Children with Special Health Care Needs Services Program, and the Kidney Health Care Program. 

HHSC will pay claims submitted between January 10 and January 16 on Tuesday, January 21, with deposits available on January 23. HHSC will pay claims submitted on or after January 11 on the regular cycle.
