Memorial Day Holiday to Delay Pharmacy Payments

There will be a one-day delay in Vendor Drug Program payments to pharmacy providers because of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 26.  The delay affects claims for traditional Medicaid, the Children with Special Health Care Needs Services Program, and the Kidney Health Care Program.

HHSC will pay claims submitted between May 16 and May 22 on Tuesday, May 27, with deposits available on May 29.  HHSC will pay claims submitted on or after May 27 on the regular cycle.
