W-4. Searches

HHSC publishes several databases to allow users to search resource data, such as pharmacies, drugs, and prescribing providers.

Sometimes web browsers show old data in search results. To ensure that your browser shows the current version of a page, hold the shift key down on the keyboard and, at the same time, use the mouse to click the refresh or reload icon of your browser. This action forces the browser to download the latest version of the data.

The content of each database is available to download as a delimited text file. Refer to the Data Files section of this manual for instructions on downloading and reading the files.

Contact us if the search is unavailable or for questions about the data.
