Gainwell Technologies is the pharmacy benefits administrator for the Texas Vendor Drug Program. The below system information will assist pharmacies, manufacturers, and prescribers.
All times are central time zone.
Status Update
- Sunday, March 31:
- As of 12:00 a.m. the systems and portals are active
- Saturday, March 30:
- As of 6:00 p.m.. system and portal start time is scheduled for later this evening
- As of 12:05 p.m., systems and portals will not be active until later this afternoon.
- As of 9:40 a.m.. the systems and portals will not be active until 12:30 p.m.
- As of 8:40 a.m.. the systems and portals will not be active until 10 a.m.
- As of 5:50 a.m.:
- The Gainwell point-of-sale claims system, the VDP Provider Portal, and the VDP ECOI Portal will not be active until 9 a.m. Due to this delay, Gainwell cannot process fee-for-service pharmacy claims until 9 a.m. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience. The call centers will still open at 8 a.m.
