MCO Search Now Available

HHSC published the Managed Care Organization Resources Search on the VDP website in June 2023. The search streamlines all the information provided in the MCO Contact and Pharmacy Claims Billing Information chart and MCO Service Area Information chart. HHSC will retire both charts on Dec. 1, 2023.

Users can search by the MCO or pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) name, program name (i.e., STAR, CHIP, STAR-PLUS, etc.), or service area. The search results return MCO billing information, contact information, and links to MCO and PBM websites.

The information in the search is also available to download. Refer to the instructions on how to download and locally review the data.
